Privacy policy

Last updated: 28 June 2026

LLND Studio is a registered business name of Joel Stevens, a sole trader based in Australia (who also trades as Accredited Coaching Services). In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean that business. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Who this covers

Two groups use LLND Studio: educators and RTO staff who hold an account, and learners who open activities through a personal link. We collect different information for each.

What we collect

We do not knowingly collect more than is needed to deliver learning and reporting. We do not store card or payment-card numbers; card payments are handled by our payment provider (see "Where it is stored" below).

How we use it

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use learner data for advertising.

AI features

Some features use AI to generate learning content (for example, drafting a worksheet or voicing it). We do not send learners' personal information to our AI providers. The AI receives only the topic or brief the educator provides, not learner names, contact details or responses. (Where a separate skills-assessment product is used, its own privacy policy applies.)

Where it is stored and who can see it

Your information is stored in Australia. Our database, authentication and file storage run on Supabase, hosted in Sydney, so learner records are kept onshore. Access is controlled so an educator sees only their own learners, and an RTO sees only its own organisation's data. We use the following providers (sub-processors) only to run the service:

Information handled overseas

Your learner records are stored in Australia. However, some of the providers above operate from overseas: our application hosting, our sign-in emails, and (when billing is enabled) our payment processing are handled in the United States. This means limited personal information — such as your name and email address — may be processed there. We take reasonable steps to ensure these providers protect your information and use it only to deliver their service to us. As noted above, we do not send learner information to our AI providers.

How long we keep it

We keep account-holder information for as long as the account is active. We delete a learner's personal information within 12 months after their account or enrolment is closed, unless we are required to keep it longer (for example, where an RTO has a record-keeping obligation). You can ask us to delete information sooner where we are not required to keep it.

Younger learners

LLND Studio is intended for adult language, literacy, numeracy and digital-literacy learners. Some learners in youth or foundation-skills programs may be aged 15 to 17. Where a learner is under 18, the educator or RTO who sets up their account is responsible for having appropriate consent (from the learner or a parent/guardian) before entering their details. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children without that consent.

How we protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information, including:

If something goes wrong

If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause serious harm, we will notify the affected individuals and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as required under the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct your personal information, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Learners should contact the educator or RTO who set up their account; account holders can contact us directly. To make a request or raise a privacy concern, see Contact.

Cookies

We use only the cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and run the app. We do not use third-party analytics or advertising cookies, and we do not track you across other websites.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, let account holders know.
